Position status
Open positions carry simulated market exposure. Residual positions retain small holdings and are not fully closed. A closed position has no remaining quantity in the published account.
Trading research & automation
Oprift is a founder-led software project for evaluating automated trading strategies. It brings strategy logic, risk checks, simulated execution, and a record of each decision into one research system.

01 / Simulated trading
“Shadow” means simulated trades using market data, without real money changing hands. This view shows anonymous position counts and states from one paper portfolio. It does not publish the assets, trading rules, or financial returns.
Anonymized positions from one simulated portfolio.
| Position | Status | Trading result |

No positions are included in the current public update.
Read-only simulation. A position count shows activity, not profitability. Expired observations are hidden automatically.
02 / Reading the ledger
The ledger shows whether simulated holdings are open, left in small amounts, or fully closed. It includes up to 50 fully closed positions; counts cover the selected portfolio’s recorded history.
Open positions carry simulated market exposure. Residual positions retain small holdings and are not fully closed. A closed position has no remaining quantity in the published account.
Trading results and the research methods are private. Position counts do not show gains, losses, account value, operating expenses, or one-time research costs.
Expired or unavailable updates are hidden. An unavailable value is never presented as zero. Observation age identifies how recently the source state was recorded.
03 / The project
Oprift connects the parts needed to evaluate a trading system: the decision, the risk check, the simulated execution, and the resulting record. Development is in private research and shadow testing; no live orders are placed and profitability has not been established.
The core connects strategy logic with deterministic checks on data, position size, liquidity, and risk before simulated execution.
Shadow testing examines how an idea behaves with modeled trading costs, execution delays, and incomplete fills.
The ledger retains decisions, simulated fills, costs, and account changes so that research results can be checked.
This site shares a limited view of the research environment. There is no product for sale, account service, or trade-signal subscription.
04 / Planned development
The roadmap focuses on making the research engine more useful and dependable. These are planned directions, with progress determined by evidence rather than a launch deadline.
The intended architecture separates the shared engine from its platform connections. Future adapters would extend research beyond Phemex to other trading platforms and marketplaces.
Further work will examine whether candidate strategies remain useful after realistic delays, costs, and execution limits, while checking that risk behavior matches its stated policy.
An always-on host is a reserved next step after local operational checks pass. Recovery testing must show that records, positions, and balances survive interruptions and restarts.
A public product is a longer-term possibility. Before offering it to customers, Oprift would need repeatable founder results, dependable operation, and a separate review of customer outcomes and service requirements. Registration is not open, and no launch date has been announced.
